Here comes the final. Australians made it to the Finals as expected. The second most expected team, India are out of the series. England after losing both the round robin matches against Australia are hoping to provide an upset.
Australians are unbeaten this series. Their last match was actually a close affair. But one should not forget that the Aussies have rested 3 of their important players last match. With their full strength squad back and Mitchell Johnson added into the side are major plus points for the Australians.
Shane Watson might be rested for this match in order to avoid a potential injury. Not a bad move with World Cup so close. Anyways Watson has been at best rusty with the bat. Marsh as a replacement is good enough.
Moeen Ali's form is a big worry. He has somewhat fizzled out after the Sri Lanka ODI series. Ian Bell's form blows hot and cold. Last match's saviours Taylor and Butler are the one's who are showing consistent form. Root, Bopara and Morgan with wavering form is a big worry for England. On the bowling front England are a happy bunch. Anderson, Finn and Ali have done a very good job till now. But no 6th, 7th part-time bowling options is a worry. Broad also gets taken for a lot of runs.
Just a factor of luck is running against Australians. They tend to lose the matches the day after Allen-Border medal ceremony. As World Cup is getting nearby, I think this time they wont be letting any slip ups.
