The second half of the month is very exciting because I'm into many new territories.
Laying the ground work for my own WebSite
The consistent and continuous increase in my blog visitors has made me come to a decision to start my own site sooner. I had found and chosen Mind Made Technologies from India to do it for me. Looks like these guys are more than brilliant. I have assigned them the first task of designing the layout of my new site and some clever SEO to bring me on top of Google for generic search terms. Once the site is designed and up we'll see how it goes.
Increase in Visitors
Visitors would be seeing a text at the bottom of my recent posts which reads "The Fastest Growing Free Cricket Betting Tips Site". That is true. My website page views count increases by a minimum of 10% each week. Last week I had a first ever 200 page views on a single day. The next day was even better with 340 views. Now I'm visible on Google search Page 1 on specific search strings like "Momentum Cup Tips" etc :) . For generic search terms like "Cricket Betting Tips" I'm somewhere in page 10-15 :( .
Now my daily page view average is at 90 from 65 in 15 days. I'm very happy to see people searching for mrcrickettipster on Google (Which I have seen more than 10 times in my blog stats)
Social Networking Presence
Initially I started off with Google+, Facebook and Twitter. From 15 Oct, I'm into Tumblr, Linkedin, Delicious and Digg. Unfortunately Pinterest says my content is spam and StumbleUpon isn't easy for me. I'm exploring more options as well.
Search Engines provide 15-25% of my visitors. Twitter drives 10%. Remaining ones are the regular visitors or new ones who caught the word of mouth.
Cricket Betting Markets For Dummies
As promised I have started writing my Cricket betting guides. But I count write much because there were too many matches for the past one month. I'll add more content ASAP.
OLBG
To increase my credibility, I started participating in the OLBG's cricket tipster competition. For half a month performance I'm ranked 12th in their tables for this month. That entitles me to 10£ if the table stays that way till 30th. This will be my first ever income from my blog related efforts :)
