Lions v Warriors
People are eagerly coming already for my Ram-Slam tips. Sorry for the delay. India v Sri Lanka match was a beauty to watch. So I got stuck with it.
Chris Gayle has well and truly lifted the quality of Lions batting line up. But there are some problems they have to address. Their middle order has to take more responsibility. Their good bowling unit is still struggling to adapt to T20 techniques.
But their opponents Warriors have to address issues in all departments. Colin Ingram's poor form has left them high and dry. Scores of 131 and 127 shows how bad their batting line up is. From Momentum ODI Cup itself I have been saying this; Without Ingram there's no batting unit left for them. Inclusion of Kieswetter adds more strength, still their batting isn't good enough. Warriors bowling also faces the problem of adapting to T20s.
