Knights are coming into this match with a victory in the previous match. Otago are coming in with a closely fought loss.
Knights top order struggled without the stability of Williamson. Their middle order helped them stabilize. The lower order powered by Vettori enabled them get a high score. They cannot expect this to happen throughout the series. The top order has to step up.
Ryan Ten Doeschate: wherever he goes he becomes the anchor of lower middle order. If he hadn't got out in the last over Volts would have defeated the Aces.
I'm taking a contrarian call this match, because Northern Districts have been playing too much Cricket from last month.
